Hello,

I've been an atheist all my life, though I came out to my family about 7 or 8 years ago. I love watching a good debate, and speaking out against the views of theists amongst friends. I'm a member on the Rational Response Squad site, and love their work as well.

Being that religion is so prevelant in our culture, I talk about how ridiculous it is every day. Unfortunately my fiancee seems to grow tired of me talking about it all the time, so I should probably get out of the house a little more... I was thinking of joining mnatheists.org to have a more local venue for this, and to get a little more active in fighting theism. I noticed you guys have a fee, but couldn't find anywhere that says "monthly" membership fee, or "yearly"... I'm assuming it's yearly, but perhaps you guys could answer that for me?

I notice when I'm "fighting theism" its best to take little chips away, big ones and they just shut down.

Mostly, sorry your significant other gets sick of you talking about your atheism. My boyfriend and I talk about it just about every day!

Glad you're on here, hope you join. We all need to be accounted for these days with the growing number of evangelicals.

We're all up for talking about theism all you want. It'll keep your SO from getting fed up and scissor slapping you.
