I'm 26 and live in the Lyn Lake neighborhood in Minneapolis with my fiance Jeannette. I work as a Systems Administrator for a company in Little Canada. I've been an open atheist for about a year, and before then, I was raised Lutheran, and was fascinated with the history of Christianity, and grew very frustrated by an honest intellectual investigation of the truth of this religion I was raised in. Sure, I thought prayer was just talking to yourself, but I set out to see if there was any truth to the opposite. Since I found none, I still remain fascinated by religion, Christianity, and the Bible, but don't imagine myself being able to reconcile the material cosmology of science with that of Christianity, no matter how boiled down and liberal it gets.

I am running for an At-Large position for the Board of Minnesota Atheists. I'm the web person for Minnesota Atheists, so please direct complaints to me. I do offer free tech support, when I can, to Minnesota Atheists members, but I do ask that you donate what you would have paid for service to Minnesota Atheists. I'm also active in the Humanists of Minnesota and Campus Atheists, Skeptics, and Humanists at the University of Minnesota.
