I never know how to start these damn things off, so here is the nutshell version.
ME: 43, male, happily married for twenty years, no kids
(thank you science!), we work in business property management, we live in the southern TC metro with three fat spoiled cats. I like to play and repair stringed instruments, I'm a bit of a shutter bug and I love to cook for and feed my friends, read without moving my lips, slap paint on canvas and listen to music. I like cheap cigars, expensive beer and red meat. I'm not an educated man, I dropped out of high school and joined the military, but I don't consider myself an idiot. Me fpell and reed reel gude.
My theistic experiences run the gambit from a full gospel, crazed born again, to a meditation minded, herb gathering, pseudo-taoist following the way of the sword. I've taken hard looks at the worlds religions and came to two conclusions.
1. When you strip away the bullshit, they all pretty much boil down to the same idea.
"Treat others the way you expect to be treated." Not a bad idea at all.
2. 99.9% of all religions followers completely disregard this idea.
I'm generally pretty affable, although I get surly fast when dealing with morons, but I'm working on that.
