Attention all STD Board members.

Flake One is going to Bali on Feb 28 for a much needed and justly deserved 2 week vacation.

The March Executive Board Meeting will be moved to Kuta Beach, Bali, Indonesia on the 7th of March. This may create a few problems as Bali will be celebrating Nyepi Day,( Silence Day ) It is the day of absolute silence and stillness for Hindu Balinese,From 6:00am to 6:00 am, no fires lit, no activity done, no traveling to anywhere and no amusement held. For 24 hours only fasting meditation and self-introspection are permitted.

As some of you may have guessed, it will be very difficult for me to “Keep Quit” for 24 hours. So if you hear about a “Tourist” going crazy on March 7th don’t worry, it’s just me.

This executive Board Meeting is mandatory. So be there or be square…

NIce man. Sounds like a fun trip. Unfortunately due to schedualing conflicts, I will be unable to be at the board meeting. I'm afraid we won't be able to meet quorum at the BM. Better luck next year.

Dear Flake Two

I got back about 2 weeks ago. Really had a great time, and I strongly recommend that you go to Bali someday. We rented a car for $10.00 a day; gas was less than $2.00 a gallon.

Found a great cottage in Ubud located on a small river for $12.00 a day (including Breakfast delivered to the door, every morning)

In Sunar we found another cottage located right on the beach for $25.00 a day (Including Breakfast) It was about 100 yards down from a major hotel for $200.00 a day…

The best deal was in Kuta beach for $6.00 a day (including Breakfast)…Only problem was, no Towels, no bed sheets, no hot water, no toilet paper, and no Toilet Seat!!!
