I think he's tired of the same old debate. Much like Atheists are of the manger scenes every christmas being placed on Government property. I read on the internet last month that Dawkins was getting tired of debating the same issues with the same juvenile crowd: I don't blame him, they're never going to grow up. They're never going to open the cage and fly away. They're never going realize they too are truly free to make conclusions based on facts and that little voice in their head is their parents' guilt talking: not a god. Like Ripley said in the movie Aliens, "How many different ways do want me to tell the same story?" I wasn't raised a creationist so I suppose your conclusions wouldn't have occured to me at the time.
