Jen TuderA smash hit at last summer's Minnesota Fringe Festival, this one-woman, multi-character show by Jen Tudor will have you laughing, crying, and thinking. The author and actress portrays a sex education teacher, Mrs. Glasscock, who rebels against abstinence-only teaching. We, the audience, get to act as her students.
"Course Description: Since this is Mrs. Glasscock's last day of teaching, she's decided to cover all the most important topics: politics, pleasure, queer identity, lubrication, masturbation, and religion. Mrs. G is joined by some guest speakers to spread her word. This is what happens when a teacher has 50 minutes and nothing to lose."
Normally tickets for this show sell for $15, but you get to see it for free! (Athough a kind donation to MN Atheists will make you feel good)
Jen Tuder holds a Ph.D. in speech communication with an emphasis in performance studies from Southern Illinois University. She is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Communication Studies and Theatre, Film Studies, and Dance, at St. Cloud State University.

1. Are you serious?
Madge - Are you actually thanking God for atheists?!
Do you really need a bunch of non-believers to help strengthen the faith of your Christian friends?

"These people don't believe...so that makes me believe even more!"

That is so sad. I pity you.

2. So what are you worried about?
If we're such a small minority, and someone like D'Souza can destroy us utterly, why are you so concerned as to go to the effort to come here and talk about how "insignificant" we are? I don't go to Christian blogs and criticize them. I spend my time mostly minding my own business, pursuing a career, going to grad school, traveling, writing, and performing as a dancer. I have my own life, and all we're doing on this radio show is talking about our lives, not yours> So what's the problem? If we're so insignificant, why do you listen, and then comment here?
Are you trying to convince yourself?

3. We Welcome the Science
Dawkins accuses Christians of 'abusing' their children. But when we use science to get at the facts we find that Christian children are in a far better position than others. This extensive study, carried out at the University of North Carolina, says it all:

Science will not be your friend - the facts are not on your side. A recent study showed the religious perform about 144 charitable acts to the non-religious' 100. We welcome examination. We'll thrash you firmly on your own ground. Enjoy your party while it lasts!!!!

4. Well....
You are a small, but very vocal minority. Most of you are active on the net, so must give the impression that you are a large movement. Your ideas are dated and bankrupt. Now Christianity is beginning to react to you (the good you have done is get us to examine the rational basis of our faith - and we have not been found wanting) and people like Dinesh D'souza are beating down your best spokespeople. Please read Vox Day's 'The Irrational Atheist' and weep. Very few of you really understand what you are attacking.
I thank God for you though, because you are galvanising Christians into action.
