great show!
This week's talk was really great and I like to listen to the show except for one thing, this is a tech tip for the show itself, so please don't take this as a critique or an insult to the show, so here goes:
I think the mics of the interviewers could use noise gates because when the interviewee starts talking I get distracted by one of the interviewers "nosebreathing" into the microphone. It's very annoying and grating to me to have to listen to that and I may stop listening because of it. Again, this is not a critique, just a tip on radio etiquette, please control your breathing, thanks!

Thanks for the tip
We've been working on the breathing problem. I think the problem this week was with the first interviewer, George. I'll remind him to watch where his nose ends up.

Hi, congrats from Germany. Wish I could visit the American Atheists conference, I sounds really great! The new information about the historicity of Jesus of Nazareth shall create some stir!

Overzealousness can be a problem.
I'm an Atheist Jewish Israeli, my dad is a tour guide and an atheist as well, we were both surprised at this odd attempt to rewrite history and archeology. Nazareth was a village of some 30-40 families, It's ridiculous to deny the existing modern evidence. Choosing evidence to reach a pre-determined conclusion is unscientific and counter-productive, and I'm appaled by this, because it goes against my pro-knowledge approach to life. You can talk about Jesus evidence disputes, but the town was a known Jewish town at the time, and that's cross-documented, and excavated.

As for Bethlehem
Judean Bethlehem has also existed for centuries before, but Bethlehem of Galilee is only 8 miles from Nazareth, and all agree the stories were later moved to Judea to connect "The Masiach" with the house of David. Of all the problematic myths and contradiction in the Christian bible, attacking archaeologically verified evidence is the oddest course of action.

That said, I have to say I'm also sad people publish attack books in the name of Atheism. I think learning and teaching new things rather than attacking the old is a better way to advance our cause and ourselves.

The Nazareth Myth
I attended Rene Salm’s presentation last weekend on his new book to which you are referring, "The Myth of Nazareth: The Invented Town of Jesus." It is a new thesis, so it will be interesting to see the reviews from scholars in biblical archaeology. I can tell you that Mr. Salm claims to have examined every evidence put forward so far for a 1st Century Nazareth. As I’m sure you heard, our guest on last week’s program, Frank Zindler, has closely studied Mr. Salm’s research, and believes that it will revolutionize the current conclusions. I of course join you in the hope that Mr. Salm’s thesi
