Local Study Shows Generational Growth
The University of Minnesota’s newspaper, The Minnesota Daily, recently released a survey of the religious beliefs of U of M students. 7.5% of those surveyed responded that they were atheists and 14.9% said they were agnostics. This in spite of the fact that only 2% said they were raised as agnostics and only 1.7% as atheists. This generational growth is a positive sign for tomorrow’s leaders, and we can only hope it is reflective of other college campuses. The survey included responses from both graduate and undergraduate students, and can be downloaded in PDF form here.
