Pledge of Allegiance Protection Act (HR 2389) Goes to Senate

The Pledge Protection Act would strip federal courts—including the Supreme Court—of the power to decide the constitutionality of the Pledge of Allegiance and its “one nation under god” wording. Update: The U.S. House of Representatives has passed the Pledge Protection Act, but it is unclear whether the Senate will take up the bill this session. No need to delay in contacting Senators Coleman and Dayton to convey your feelings.
