Rep. Bachmann Co-Sponsors Bill to Honor Christianity

Yes, you read it right: the U.S. House of Representatives recently passed Resolution 847, known as the “Christmas Bill,” intended to support and acknowledge that small and oppressed group known as Christians. Co-sponsored by Minnesota Congressperson Michelle Bachmann, the bill reads, in part, “The House of Representatives . . . acknowledges and supports the role played by Christians and Christianity in the founding of the United States . . . rejects bigotry and persecution directed against Christians . . . and expresses its deepest respect to American Christians . . .” Chances are, your Representative voted for it.
