Blood For Pizza – Halloween Edition – Oct 25th
How do we chip away at the stereotype that atheists are a bunch of unfeeling nihilists while helping our community at the same time? Charity work! We all give selflessly at one time or another, and now is our chance to do something collectively.
For those who can donate blood (a good rule of thumb is that if you are at least 16, weigh at least 110 lbs, 130 lbs if you are under 17, and are in good health, you can donate) we’ll be meeting at Memorial Blood Centers again. The times are the same, donations will happen between 10 AM and Noon. While you’re waiting, you can chat it up with fellow atheist donors. We’ll be giving out t-shirts to volunteers if you don’t have one already and heading for free pizza after the donations are done.
When you RSVP, if you could send your name, birth date, whether you have donated with Memorial Blood Centers before and phone number to giveback@mnatheists.org, we can pass that to them to speed the registration process along.
