The Minnesota Atheists organization is honored to receive a Heart of Humanism award from Foundation Beyond Belief for our volunteer activities which are organized by a team of dedicated Minnesota Atheists members and supporters. Minnesota Atheists was one of eight team winners out of more than 70 teams among the Beyond Belief Network. The Humanist Communication Award we received comes with a $50 grant which we can direct to any 501(c)(3) organization we choose.

Some of our past and upcoming volunteer events include holiday gift donations to Children’s Hospital of Minnesota, highway cleanups, food packing for the Emergency Foodshelf Network, food collection for Second Harvest, and monthly food donation and meal preparation for the Family Place center in St. Paul which is for local families living without permanent housing.

Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers and organizers for their direct community service and for representing atheism in a positive way. Thank you to the Beyond Belief Network for their support, motivation, and recognition.

If you’re interested in volunteering in one of our community volunteering events be sure to check out the schedule of events on our Meetup page. If you’re interested in helping to organize a volunteer event please contact Eric Jayne at pres@mnatheists.org
