MN Atheists Needs You for the 2015 War on Christmas

Snow is on the ground, eggnog is readily available, twinkling lights are brightening up the cold winter night, and conservative Christians are complaining about the holiday decorations at coffee shops and other retailers. All of this signals that the annual “War on Christmas” is upon us! To celebrate the War on Christmas, some local atheists and other freethinkers will be joining up for some fun, secular, holiday cheer at the banquet room inside the Green Mill Restaurant in St. Paul just as we’ve done for the past five years.

The Green Mill Restaurant is near Ayd Mill and Grand Ave. in St. Paul (57 South Hamline). Please bring a NEW gift(s) from the Children’s Hospital of Minnesota Wish List and join your family of heathens in organizing gift bags for families spending time at Children’s Hospital of Minnesota. The event begins at 12pm and goes until 3pm. We’ll enjoy a holiday feast followed by gift wrapping, organizing, socializing, and partaking in some Christmas spirits (i.e. beer and wine). Depending on how many RSVP we should end up with some decent gift bags for patients and their families. Those who wish to meet me at the hospital will have our picture taken with the Children’s Hospital “Wish List” coordinator.
