We are sad to announce the death of Otto Link, long time member, at the age of 91. Otto and his wife Jeanette were regulars at our Winter Solstice banquets and summer picnics. Otto was a great storyteller, excellent teller of jokes and just enjoyed talking with people and getting to know others.

Otto was born in Saint Paul and a graduate of Humboldt High School and went on to the University of Minnesota earning Bachelor of Arts in education and later a master’s degree specializing in elementary reading. Otto taught 4th and 5th grade reading including to deaf students. Later in his career he went into school administration, first as a vice principle and then as principle.

Otto and Jeanette moved to California in 2017 to be closer to family. We offer our condolences to Jeanette, Otto’s family and many friends. He lived a long and good life and he made the world he touched a better place.
